INSPECTION DATE CHANGE FOR THE 2013 COMPONENT DESIGN BASES INSPECTION FOR THE BRAIDWOOD STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2

Dear Mr. Pacilio:

This letter confirms our plans to change the schedule of Components Design Bases Inspection (CDBI) for 2013 at your Braidwood Station, which was conveyed to you in our Mid-Cycle Assessment Letter dated September 4, 2012. The reason for the change is to accommodate a scheduling conflict associated with inspections at the Clinton Power Station.

Per discussion with Murtaza Abbas, Senior Regulatory Specialist for the Braidwood Station, on October 15, 2012, the new dates for on-site inspections were acceptable. The new on-site inspection weeks will be the weeks of July 29, August 12 and August 26, 2013.
