Letter from E. R. Duncan (U. S. NRC) to M. J. Pacilio (Exelon Generation Company, LLC), Mid-Cycle Letter for Braidwood Station, Units 1 and 2; 05000456/2011-006; 05000457/2011-006, dated September 1, 2011 On September 1, 2011, the NRC issued the mid-cycle assessment letter to Exelon Generation Company, LLC (EGC) for Braidwood Station, Units 1 and 2 (Reference 1). The NRC letter discusses plans to conduct a traditional enforcement violation follow-up inspection using Inspection Procedure 92723, "Follow-up Inspection for Three or More Severity Level IV Traditional Enforcement Violations in the Same Area in a 12-Month Period."

NRC Region III verbally requested that EGC provide written notification of readiness for a traditional enforcement violation follow-up inspection. This letter provides notification that EGC is prepared for this inspection.

There are no regulatory commitments contained in this letter.
