Severe Accident Management Alternatives Using Latest Computer Aided Fault Tree Analysis Model (TAC MD8203)" (ML102870253)

The purpose of this letter is to provide revised information concerning the Severe Accident Management Alternatives (SAMA) analysis report for WBN Unit 2. By letter dated October 14, 2010 (Reference), TVA provided the WBN Unit 2 SAMA report using the new Computer Aided Fault Tree Analysis (CAFTA) based model to evaluate Unit 2 severe accidents. The report attached to the October 14, 2010 letter contained information that was not intended to be submitted to the NRC. TVA requests that its October 14, 2010 letter be withdrawn and replaced with the information contained in this letter. Enclosure 1 of this letter provides a revised WBN Unit 2 SAMA report using the new CAFTA model. Enclosure 1 contains security-related information, and TVA requests this information be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 2.390.
