This letter provides the response to the NRC email request (Reference 1) dated February 1, 2010 concerning the description of the secure owner-controlled area (SOCA) for Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station (PNPS).

The information provided in the attachment to this letter is considered Security-Related Information associated with physical protection of PNPS, as described in 10 CFR 2.390(d)(1).

Accordingly, Entergy requests that the information provided in the attachment be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 2.390.
