Dear Mr. Musegaas -

Kimberly Green of the NRC Staff has informed me that she received a voice mail message from you, inquiring about Entergy's amendments to the Indian Point License Renewal Application (LRA). I am responding on her behalf. However, now that an adjudicatory proceeding on the Indian Point LRA has commenced, I would ask that you address any future communications regarding the LRA to me or other Staff Counsel, rather than directing them to individual Staff members.

With respect to your inquiry, I understand you are attempting to find Entergy's Amendment 2 to the LRA, regarding metal fatigue, dated 1/22/08; and that you want to know if any other amendments have been filed, aside from Amendments 1 and 2, dated 12/18/07 and 1/22/08, respectively.

I have been informed that Entergy's LRA Amendment 2 is scheduled for public release in ADAMS on February 6, 2008 (Accession No. ML080290659). To my knowledge, there have been only two formal amendments of the LRA to date, both of which you cited. You should be aware, however, that license applicants occasionally submit information in their responses to the NRC Staff's Requests for Additional Information (RAIs) which could modify their license applications. I cannot tell you whether Entergy's responses to the Staff's RAIs for the Indian Point LRA include such modifications, however, as you know, Entergy's responses to the Staff's RAIs are routinely placed in the NRC's ADAMS system, and are available for your review.
