After years of public use, the eFACTS system has been redesigned to provide more functionality to the public. The new system is easier to use, has more options and provides the public with multiple options and tools to view environmental / compliance information on regulated facilities as well as information on permitting, licensing and pending applications The public can search for individual authorizations, clients, sites and facilities. Users can also search our database for inspections, pollution prevention visits, viewing inspection results data, including enforcement data when violations are noted. We have also provided a name search to search our database by company name when it is not known if the company is a client, site or facility.

DEP believes bringing individuals, businesses and local governments into compliance with environmental requirements is our first obligation and that compliance reporting should become a fundamental part of all environmental protection programs.

For a complete picture of a facility's compliance status, we suggest you also query EPA's ECHO and Envirofacts internet sites which contain federal compliance information for the facility. eFACTS contains only DEP compliance information.

Designing a comprehensive environmental information system is a major challenge for the Department of Environmental Protection and we invite the public to be part of this process. Please email us with any questions or suggestions you have.
