" Programs/Events " School Visits Plunge into the world of Beaver Lake Nature Center. The Nature Center offers over 400 annual programs. A rich mix of habitats creates the possibility of seeing more than 200 species of birds and over 800 varieties of plants.

With an annual snowfall in excess of 120 inches, winter outings on skis or snowshoes are as rewarding as fair weather visits.

Its winding tra -is are to be enjoyed in all seasons. The 200 acre glacial lake is a migratory stop for thousands of Canada geese that migrate through, as well as an opportunity for summertime exploration by canoe.

Through membership, an opportunity exists for you to become part of Beaver Lake. The Friends of Beaver Lake strive to make the Beaver Lake experience complete. Since 1980 the friends of Beaver Lake Nature Center have provided essential financial and volunteer support to the Nature Center, ensuring the best possible experience for each visitor.

Interested in photography & nature? You might want to check out the Beaver Lake Nature Center Photography Group which meets on the 4th Monday of each month at 7:15pm.

Beaver Lake Nature Center's Mission: To foster local and global stewardship of nature through diverse recreational and educational opportunities that enhance visitors' awareness, appreciation, and understanding of the natural world.

General Information Please Note: Dogs are not allowed at Beaver Lake Nature Center.
