~Entergy Indian Point Energy Center Status Report February 10, 2006 Operational Status Indian Point Unit 2 is operating at 100% and has been online 50 days.

Indian Point Unit 3 is operating at 100% reactor power and has been on-line for 129 days. Operations and maintenance crews are making plans for 2R17 refueling outage at IP2 scheduled to begin in April.

Tritium Investigation NRC, DEC and Entergy Take Split Samples Split samples were taken by Nuclear Regulatory Commission, New York State DEC, and Entergy this week. Samples were obtained from the Hudson River and phase 1 monitoring wells along with off-site locations. The phase 1 wells are located near the oP2 spent fuel building, transformer yard and discharge canal. The off-site locations included:

• Gypsum Outfall NRC Commissioner Jaczko to Visit Indian Point NRC Commissioner Gregory B. Jaczko will tour Indian Point and eet with senior management and employees on February 23. Jaczko oined the commision in January, 2005 and was an advisor to Senator arry Reid (D-NV) on science policy matters. Dr. Jaczko earned a

- achelor's degree from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in particle hysics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Commissioner Jaczko will tour the spent fuel pool and turbine areas and hold an employee meeting at the site.
