Seabrook and Millstone 2 SG Inspections As you are aware, our section participates in conference calls with a handful of licensees performing steam generator inspections every outage season. Your plant(s) may not be performing a steam generator inspection this outage. If the plant isinspecting the steam generator, we have determined that we do not need to talk with the licensee for Seabrook or Millstone 2 during their upcoming outage.

However, we would appreciate being notified whether the plant is performing an inspection. Also, please notify us if one of the circumstances identified below is identified by the during the outage.

1. If a tube fails an in situ pressure test or if an in situ pressure test can not be completed due to limited pump capacity.
2. If a new degradation mechanism, new to Seabrook or Millstone 2, is identified.
3. If degradation is more severe than expected or a larger number of tubes are degraded/defective than expected.

Based on feedback from the licensee we will determine whether a conference call is desired. Will you please pass this request along to your licensee contacts?

Thanks, Marty Murphy CC: Louise Lund
