DRAFT OUTLINE COMMENTS Administrative JPMs Radiation control topic involving entry and exit from the RCA for both the RO and SRO is too simple and should not be used. Resolution: The JPM will be more challenging because the entry will involve an additional entry into a high radiation area.
Walk-throughs What walk-throughs will be performed together? ANS: JPMs 6, 7, and 8 and JPMs 2 and 3 will be performed simultaneously.
Any repeat use of previous NRC exam material? If so how much (in percentage) is the repeat? ANS: One JPM, #200-08, is the only part of the exam that is repeated from the last NRC exam.
Scenarios Identify the actual attributes given on ES-301-4 Form ES-301-5, Scenario 1, RO: The BOP does not have a normal evolution and the RO number 4 for Instrument/component should be number 5. Resolution: Will make changes to the ES-301-5 forms.
Form ES-301-5, Scenario 1, SRO-I: As RO, the number 4 for instrument/component should be number 5. Resolution: Will make changes to the ES-301-5 forms.
I would like each specific applicant to have their own ES-301-5.
Written Please include the KA description on the reference written exam.
For K/As that require the use of procedures, be sure that the question references a procedure.
