RESCHEDULING OF QUAD CITIES NUCLEAR POWER STATION SAFEGUARDS INSPECTION

Dear Mr. Crane:

This letter confirms rescheduling of our safeguards baseline inspection activity. The enclosure to our March 4, 2004 letter titled, Quad Cities Inspection/Activity Plan, identified a safeguards baseline inspection to be conducted May 10 - 14, 2004. This inspection has been rescheduled for May 24 - 28, 2004. The inspection will address IP 71130.01, Access Authorization, IP 71130.02, Access Control, Sections 02.01, 02.08, and 04 of IP 71130.08, Fitness-for-Duty Program, and IP 71151, Performance Indicator Verification. The change in schedule was coordinated with Mr. K. Leach of your staff.

If you have any question regarding the above changes to the safeguards inspection schedule, please contact me at (630) 829-9822.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
