Nuclear Onsite Property Damage Insurance [10 CFR 50.54(w)(3)]

In accordance with 10 Code of Federal Regulations(CFR) 50.54, Conditions of licenses, paragraph (w)(3), Holtec Decommissioning International, LLC (HDI), is required each year to report to the NRC the current levels and sources of insurance that demonstrates HDI possesses an equivalent amount of protection covering the licensees obligation to stabilize and decontaminate the station site in the event of an accident. In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54 (w)(3), this report is required to be submitted on April 1 of each year.

HDI is submitting the following updated status of nuclear property insurance currently maintained for our plants.

Facility Total coverage Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station 50 million Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station 1.06 billion The insurance maintained at each facility is provided through insurance policies purchased from Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited (NEIL).

The above insurance policies provide coverage that satisfies the criteria specified in 10 CFR 50.54(w).
