Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 BV-1 Docket No. 50-334, License No. DPR-66 BV-2 Docket No. 50-412, License No. NPF-73 Supplement to License Amendment Request Nos. 318 and 191 Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) requested an amendment to the above licenses in the form of changes to the Technical Specifications. The license amendment requests, 318 and 191, requested approval to apply the Westinghouse Best-Estimate Loss-of-Coolant Accident (BELOCA) analysis methodology to Beaver Valley Power Station Unit Nos. 1 and 2, and requested amendment of the respective Technical Specifications. The BELOCA license amendment requests where submitted by FENOC letter L-04-124 dated October 4, 2004.

By letter L-05-112 dated July 8, 2005, FENOC provided responses to a NRC request for additional information pertaining to the FENOC request for an extended power uprate (license amendment requests 302 and 173). This letter documents that the responses to Questions E.26 and E.30 submitted by FENOC letter L-05-112 apply to the BELOCA license amendment request applications.

The responses to Questions E.26 and E.30 submitted by FENOC letter L-05-112 have no impact on the proposed Technical Specification changes, or the no significant hazards consideration transmitted by FENOC letter L-04-124.
