FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant Nozzle-to-Vessel Welds and Nozzle Inner Radii Using ASME Code Case N-702 and BWRVIP-241, JAFP 0073, dated June 30, 2015

Dear Sir or Madam:

Entergy submitted Relief Request 18 (RR-18) [Reference] in the Fourth Ten-Year lnservice Inspection Interval pursuant to 10 CFR 50.55a(z)(1). The request was made to implement alternative examination requirements based on American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Code Case N-702 and Boiling Water Reactor Vessel and Internals Project BWRVIP-241 .

Subsequent to this letter, issues with some data provided in the relief request have been identified . This has been discussed with the NRC Senior Project Manager. Based on these discussions with the NRC staff, Entergy is withdrawing Relief Request 18.
