Dear Sir or Madam:
On April 20, 2021, the NRC gave Notice to James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant (JAF) of an escalated enforcement action, EA-20-138, associated with a White Finding,05000333/2020012-01, Defective Part Results in High Pressure Coolant System Pressure Control Valve Failure. On September 3, 2021, the NRC provided a final White Finding and revised notice of violation.
The NRC plans to conduct a supplemental inspection in accordance with Inspection Procedure 95001, "Supplemental Inspection for One or Two White Inputs in a Strategic Performance Area" following notification of readiness for a supplemental inspection. This letter notifies the NRC that FitzPatrick is ready for the supplemental inspection.
