March 29, 1990.
The licensee's investigation did disclose similar radiological conditions existed for work performed on valve (SIE-V-217)
located in Unit 2 on April 4, 1990.
Radiological controls established for work performed on valve, SIE-V-217, were consistent with licensee procedures.
The work area was established as a hot particle zone and personnel were dressed in cotton and paper protective clothing, respirators and proper dosimetry.
Extra rubber gloves were used by workers as directed by RPTs.
A review of the REP, pre-job review documentation and pre/post job survey data indicated that the work was adequately preplanned and no unusual situations arose during the performance of work.
No violations or deviations were identified.
This matter is closed.

B Cha.noches No major changes to the licensee's radiological control facilities had occurred since the last inspection.
One major change involving the reorganization of the chemistry and radiation protection groups is discussed in Section 4, below.
Included in the reorganization was the selection of a site chemistry-manager.
