Thank you for your letter of July 22, 1980, in which you describe a revision of your previous commitment to e stablish a fomal rotation of Pittsburgh Testing Laboratory (PTL) personnel on a regular basis. Your revised system consisting of reviews and multi-tiered supervision as well as assignment of personnel with higher levels of education and/or background experience, appears to provide an acceptable method of assuring that PTL records accurately reflect test results.
We will review implementation of your revised system during future NRC inspections.
