Thank you for,ycur letter dated Aubast 26, 1983, informing us of the steps you have taken to correct the noncompliance which we brought to your attention in Inspection Report No. 50-483/83-14 forwarded by our letter dated July 28, 1983. It is our understanding that although the turbine control panel was not procured as a safety-related item, you do have documentation indicating that the panel does indeed meet safety-related requirements. We will examine these matters during a subsequent inspection.
