Areas Inspected: The licensee's implementation of the newly approved physical security plan for a Special Nuclear Material "possession - only" site was
reviewed. Specific inspection included Licensee's Action on Previous
Inspection Findings; Management Support, Security Program Plans, and Audits;
Protected Area Physical Barriers, Detection and Assessment Aids; Protected i
Area Access Control of Personnel and Packages; Alarm Stations and Communications; Power Supply; Testing, Maintenance and Compensatory Measures; j
and Security Training and Qualification.
Rv_sul ts : Two previous inspection findings and one security event report were

closed (No. 409/84017-01; 409/86015-01 and LER 87-S10). Certain commitments

in the new security plan required clarification. The implementation of the nLw physical security plan is adequate.
