This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated November 15, 1985, which transmitted your response to an apparent item of noncompliance with NRC requirements identified in our Inspection Report No. 50-346/85026.
The time required to complete corrective action and reach full compliance appears to be excessive. A discussion of our concerns with your corrective action is contained in the enclosure to this letter.
You are requested to review your corrective action timetable. Please advise this office of the results of your review and enclose any expedited timetables you may develop or identify the reasons that prevent more expeditious corrective action.
Your written response should be forwarded to this office within 30 days after receipt of this letter.
