Safeguards Section Nuclear Materials Safety and Safeguards Branch Division of Radiation Safety and Safeguards SUMMARY Scope:
This routine, announced inspection was conducted in the area of Physical Security Program for Power Reactors. Specfic areas evaluated were: Management Support; Security Program Plans; Audits; Protected and Vital Area Barriers and Detection and Assessment Aids; Protected and Vital Area Access Controls-Packages, Personnel and Vehicles; Alarm Stations and Communications; Testing, Maintenance and Compenatory Measures; and Security Training and Qualifications.
Results:
In the areas inspected, violations or deviations were not identified.
One NRC Identified Noncited Violation was found, see Paragraph 29 The security organization, security management and security related equipment continues to provide appropriate and adequate protection of site resouces.
