SUMMARY Scope:
.
This routine, unannounced inspection was conducted in the areas of Physical Security Program for Power Reactors, specifically; protected -and _ vital area.
- barriers, protected and vital area access control of personnel,-packages and-
-
vehicles; testing, maintenance and compensatory measures; and = alarm stations and communications.
In addition, the status of the licensee's major upgrade of the security system was reviewed to include observation of ongoing _
acceptance testing of the'new security computer system.
Security _ activities in support of the Unit 1 Steam Generator replacemeni. cf fort were. also reviewed.

Results:
In the areas inspected, violations or deviations were not identified.

Review and observation of_ security operational activities tours of the protected and vital areas, and observation of-licensee and vendor conducted-

tests of the upgrade security computer'and-access control system confirmed that the management and operational effectiveness of the securi_ty-program continued as noted during previous inspections.
Acceptance testing of the security computer system and access control components demonstrated-system operability. Actions to correct system software anomalies identified during testing were initiated as Problem Change Requests (PCRs).
