Tuis ref ers to the inspection conducted by Mr. A. A. Varela of this office on Nove ber 1, 2, and 3,1972 of construction activities authorized by AEC Construction Per=it No. CPPR-66 and to the discussion of our findings held by Mr. Varela with Mr. H 1. Stewart, and other ec=bers of the GPUSC staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The areas exa=ined during this inspection included concrete place =ent in the auxiliary building, preparation for concrete placement in the centain-
=ent building, quality control procedures and records review for prestressad cencrutc. Within these areas, the inspecti;n consisted of selective exa=-
ination of procedures and representative records, interviews with plant personnel, and observatiens by our inspector.
During this inspection, it was found that certain activities appeared to be in violation of Appendix B to 10 CFR 50 and co==it=ents =ade in your Preliminary Safety Analysis Report.

of Practice", Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations.
Section 2.201 requires you to sub=it to this office within thirty (30) days of your receipt of this notice, a written state =ent or explanation in reply including: (1) cor-rective steps which have been taken by you, and the results achieved; (2) cer-rective steps which will be taken by you to avoid further violations; and (3) the date when full compliance vill be achieved.
