Areas Inspected:

Routine, announced physical security involving Protected 'and Vital Area Access Control of Personnel and Packages; Power Supply; Testing and Maintenance; Security Training and Qualification; and Followup on previous inspection findings.

Results: 'No violations of NRC requirements were identified. The need to i

revise the security plan to identify the emergency power supply for special search equipment was noted; security force supervisors needed to be more

sensitive to the location and serviceability of contingency and security equipment;.a training need to assure that personnel could use a piece of special equipment was noted; and excessive perimeter alarms were noted.
