February 16, 1990 Meeting With Quality Assurance Nanagemert This refers to a meeting with Nr. Sexton, Mr. Young and Nr. Taggert, of your Quality Assurance (QA) staff, at the Region V Walnut Creek office on February 16, 1990.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss recent QA performance and the changes PGSE has planned to improve performance.
Alono those lines, recent organization changes have placed the QA organization under your direction and realigned the QA organization.
It was noted in the meeting that, in the past, QA has not been totally effective at identifying precursors to programmatic weaknesses and elevating them to a level where problems can be effectively dealt with.
You are encouraged to ensure that QA, arid your other oversight groups, are aggressive in their efforts to find problems and to ensure that problems are promptly and thoroughly addressed.
