Dear Mr. Miltenberger:
SEP 111992 SUBJECT: INSPECTION NOS. 50-272/92-11 & 50-311/92-11 This refers to your letter dated August 28~ 1992, in response to our letter dated July 30, 1992.
Thank you for informing us of the corrective and preventive actions documented in your
. letter. These actions will be examined during a future inspection of your licensed program.
In your letter, you addressed some apparent errors in our inspection report. These issues were discussed with Mr. Ray Brown, Nuclear Licensing Manager, during a telephone conver.sation on September 10, 1992. During this conversation, it was noted that the apparent errors *were due to a misunderstanding of the inspection report and this issue was clarified with Mr. Brown. In addition, we acknowledge that one of the ten pieces of test
- equipment cited in our Notice of Violation was apparently located by your staff subsequent to our inspection and found to be acceptable. We note that neither the clarification nor the one piece of test equipment located affected the overall violation or the corrective action you described in your response letter.
