7 'N, Scope:

This routine, unannounced (physical security.,/ inspection examined the areas of:

Security Organization, Phy'sical-Barriers-Protected Area, Compensatory Measures, Access Control-Personnel / Packages / Vehicles, and Alarm Stations.

Results:

A security event reported by the licensee on September 29, 1986, was determined to involve a failure to properly implement compensatory measures.

In accordance with the provisions of the NRC Enforcement Policy (10 CFR Part 2, Appendix C, Section V. A) a notice of violation was not issued for this licensee-identified violation.

A violation was identified during this inspection concerning an inadequate Protected Area barrier.
