Areas Inspected: Unannounced inspection regarding:

(a) action taken by the licensee to correct previous inspection findings (IE Report No. 50-255/

78-18); (b) the progress of construction, installation and pre-operational activities being undertaken to implement all provisions of 10 CFR 73.55; (c) implementation of the applicable procedural aspects of 10 CFR 73.55, which became effective May 25, 1977; (d) implementation of the ipproved security plan (revised February 16, 1976) relative to the non-procedural aspects of the security system; and (e) action taken by the licensee as a result of IE Circular 78-17.

organization, access controls, detection aids, testing and maintenance of security equipment, response requirements, communication controls, and records (10 CFR 73.70). Results: Of the nine areas specifically inspected, no items of noncom-pliance were identified. Each of the previous inspection findings were corrected and are considered closed.
