MC 30703 - Exit Interview The inspectors met with licensee representatives, indicated in paragraph 1, at the conclusion of the inspection on March 27, 1956, to review the purpose and scope of the inspection and to present the findings.

MC 81038 - Records and Reports Security Event Report records and logs, Vital Area Key Control Custody records, and Alarm Response reccrds were spot checked for the period of March 24-27, 1986. All records were complete, accessible and properly maintained.

MC 81042 - Testing and Maintenance The inspectors observed the licensee test security alarm systems and search equipment on March 25-27, 1986 and confirmed that all test results

10. MC 81501 - Personnel Training and Qualification The inspectors found that the licensee's training and qualification (T&Q)

program was as outlined in the NRC-approved T&Q plan. Personnel performance standards were found in conformance with NRC requirements and security force personnel, observed during the inspection, were found to be meeting those standards.

11. MC 81052 and MC 81054 - Physical Barriers (Protected and Vital Areas)

The inspectors determined through direct observations that the physical barriers surrounding the protected and the vital areas were maintained in accordance with the NRC-approved Security Plan.

12. MC 81601 Safeguards Contingency Plan Implementation Review The inspectors requested and observed a security response exercise of the NRC-approved Safeguards Contingency Plan.

13. MC 81062 - Lighting The inspectors conducted an examination of the entire protected area lighting system between 7:40 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on March 27, 1986 and confirmed that the lighting was in conformance with the requirements of the NRC-approved Security Plan.

14. MC 81064 - Compensatory Measures The inspectors checked the status of compensatory measures at the CAS on March 27, 1986 and then inspected two posts to observe their adequacy.

Both posts were manned by security officers and they were knowledgeable of their assigned duties. Compensatory measures were found adequate.

15. MC 81066 - Assessment Aids The inspectors observed assessment equipment at two alarm stations and found them operable and in conformance with the NRC-approved Security Plan.

16. MC 81070 - Access Control (Personnel)

The inspectors observed that the licensee controlled a::ess to the pro-tected and vital areas in accordance with the NRC-appr:ved Security Plan and implementing procedures.

The inspector observed penetration tests of the alarn systems on March 26, 1986 and during the evening of March 27, 1986.

The pe-formance of detec-tion aid systems was observed to be in conformance wit-the NRC-approved Security Plan.

20. MC 81080 Detection Aids (Vital Areas)

The inspectors requested and observed the licensee cerduct tests of the Unit 3 vital area alarm systems on March 24, 1986.
