Licensee Action on Previous Inspection Findings a.
(Closed) Noncompliance (219/79-18-31)
'
Failure to perform methyl iodine test of standby gas treatment system (SBGTS) charcoal. Inspector review of this item indicated
'
the licensee has since perfonned a test (dated January 3,1980)
and has added this technical specification surveillance requirement to his master surveillance schedule. Additionally, procedure No.
-
65.1.006, Rev. O, "SBFTS Charcoal Filter Radioactive Iodine Removal Efficiency Test" dated March 28, 1980 has been established.
The inspector review of the test data indicated the test results were acceptable.
b.
(0 pen) Noncompliance (219/79-18-29)
Failure to establish and implement calibration procedures for:
New Rad Waste Building effluent and area radiation monitors; portal monitors; multiple service gamma calibrator; and environmental air samplers.
Inspector review of the above indicated calibration procedures remain to be established for New Rad Waste Building liquid effluent monitor and environmental air samplers.
c.
(Closed) Inspector Follow-up Item (219/77-19-01)
Air flow measurements near Old Rad Waste Building centrifuge.
Inspector review indicates the licensee encountered problems in attempting to improve the overall condition of the Old Rad Waste Building. As a result of these problems encountered during 1979, the licensee ceased operation of the centrifune and Old Rad Waste Building in December 1979. A new rad waste building has been constructed to replace this building.
d.
(0 pen) Noncompliance (219/78-05-09)
l Failure to have detailed procedures for the use of protective clothing and procedures for calibration of portal monitors.
