Based on the guidance in 10 CFR 20.1502, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) performed an a priori dose assessment and determined that individual monitoring at Humboldt Bay Power Plant (HBPP) during calendar year 2016 was no longer required. Monitoring of work areas and occupied equipment likely to represent the highest exposed individual continued throughout 2016. The monitoring validates that the assumptions used in the dose assessment were acceptable.

Individual monitoring is no longer required at HBPP. Therefore, no report was filed for calendar year 2016 in accordance with 10 CFR 20.2206(c).

PG&E makes no new or revised regulatory commitments (as defined by NEI 99-04) in this letter.
