Dear Commissioners and Staff,
The purpose of this letter is to notify the NRC of the transfer of custody responsibility from Pacific Gas and Electric Company {PG&E) to PerkinElmer Health Sciences Inc.
for the following device:
Instrument PerkinElmer Liquid Scintillation System (TriCarb)
Model B291000 Serial Number DG12118718 Internal Source Ba~133, 18.BµCi (original assay in 2011)
Source Serial Number BAJ658 The equipment contains a licensed quantity of radioactive material and is being transferred from PG&E's Humboldt Bay Power Plant in Eureka, California, License Number DPR-7, to PerkinElmer Health Sciences, Inc., in Naperville, Illinois, State of Massachusetts License Number 56'-0683.
The enclosure provides a copy of the letter from the PerkinElmer, Radiation Safety Officer, regarding the transfer.
