Dear Commissioners and Staff:

The purpose of this letter is to inform you that as Vice President, Nuclear Generation and Chief Nuclear Officer for Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), my existing role has expanded to include nuclear decommissioning, effective March 1, 2019. I will continue to be responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of Diablo Canyon Power Plant (DCPP), as well as the Diablo Canyon Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) and Humboldt Bay ISFSI. As part of my new role, I am responsible for the safe decommissioning of Humboldt Bay Power Plant Unit 3, as well as the preparation and planning for the future decommissioning of DCPP Units 1 and 2 after the end of the NRC operating licenses in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
