SUMMARY Scope:

This routine, unannounced inspection was conducted in the area of the Physical l

Security Program for Power Reactors. Specific areas evaluated were:

Management Support; Security Program Plans; Audit; Protected and Vital Area Physical Barriers, Detection Systems and Assessment Aids; Protected and Vital

Area Access Control of Personnel, Packages and Vehicles; Alarm Stations and Communications; Testing, Maintenance and Compensatory Measures; and Security Training and Qualification.

. Results:

In the areas inspected, one NRC identified non-cited violation was found l

during this inspection, see Paragraph 2f._ The plant was refueling

i Unit 2, upgrading Unit 3 and in the middle of a major physical security upgrade. Considering the impact these projects have on the site and the

personnel involved, security continued to provide appropriate and adequate

protection of vital assets designated by the licensee.
