Mr. Reynolds,

By letter dated August 18, 2023 (ADAMS Accession No. ML23230A010), Constellation Energy Generation, LLC (CEG, the licensee) submitted a license amendment request (LAR) for Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 (NMP1 and NMP2).The LAR proposes to remove the Nine Mile Point 3 Nuclear Project, LLC, (NMP3) designation from the NMP1 and NMP2 Technical Specifications (TSs) which are not applicable to the current design features of the NMP site. By letter dated July 31, 2024 (ML24213A080), CEG submitted a supplemental letter with corrected NMP1 and NMP2 TS markup pages for Figure 5.1-1, Site Boundaries for NMP1 and Figure 4.1-1, Site Area and Land Portion of Exclusion Area Boundaries for NMP2. The revised pages were submitted to provide additional clarity to the respective TS figures. In addition, the letter provides CEGs revised request for approval date as September 30, 2024.

The purpose of this e-mail is to officially inform you that the NRC staff has updated its estimated completion date for the subject licensing action from August 18, 2024, to September 30, 2024.
