Request Preliminary Review and Feedback on Chapter 6 of the draft License Termination Plan
Holtec Decommissioning International (HDI) is requesting U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) feedback on the portion of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station (OCNGS)
License Termination Plan (LTP) addressing compliance with the radiological criteria for license termination.
Specifically, HDI is seeking feedback on Chapter 6 format and content including (1) the compliance scenario; and (2) development of derived concentration guideline levels (DCGLs) .
To assist in this effort, HDI has provided draft material related to the OCNGS Draft Chapter 6 to the NRC staff via a secure web portal. This information will be finalized and provided publicly on the OCNGS docket as part of the official LTP submittal, which is planned for April 2024.
HDI requests NRC feedback on the OCNGS Draft Chapter 6 by April 5th, 2024, and that no more than 20 hours2.314815e-4 days <br />0.00556 hours <br />3.306878e-5 weeks <br />7.61e-6 months <br /> be expended as part of this effort.
