Proposed Change No. 7 to Technical Specifications Radiological Effluent Technical Specifications (RETS)

Cooper Nuclear Station NRC Docket No. 50-298, DPR-46 In%accordance with the applicable provisions specified in 10CFR50, Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) requests that the Technical Specifications for Cooper Nuclear Station (CNS) be revised to incorporate the proposed change contained in Attachment 1. NPPD is also submitting Attachment 2 for your review and approval since it describes the methodology and parameters to be used in the calculations of offsite doses and instrument setpoints used in Attachment 1. .

This proposed change is an updated revision of a previous RETS submittal of 1979. As such, no payment of a fec is enclosed and an evaluation of "no significant hazards" with respect to the requirements of 10CFR50.92 is not included.

The safety significance of this proposed change has been reviewed by the necessary Safety Review Committees.
