BYRON 1 OPERATING LICENSE REVIEW COSTS By Memorandum to Files dated January 8,1987, a total of $3,475,126 was i reported as operating license review costs through the issuance of the l 100% power license on February 14, 1985, for Byror,1. However, the total costs as calculated did not include all professional staff hours ,

and contractual costs through February 14, 1985. The total review costs l have been recalculated. The cumulative review costs for the Byron 1 operating license should be $3,516,997. The Commonwealth Edison Company  ;

has been billed the maximum amount of 53,077,400 that can be assessed 1 under 10 CFR 170, as revised June 20, 1984. Therefore, Commonwealth Edison Company will not be billed for these additional review costs.

The enclosure is a breakdown of the additional review costs by program office.
