Dear Mr. Anderson,

As you know, there will be a public meeting on 3118 between the NRC and PSEG to discuss F'SEG's plans to improve your Safety Conscious Work Environment. The meeting is a Category One meeting, which means that the public will have the opportunity to interact with, and ask questions of, the NIRC during the meeting.

As Coordinator of the 109 organizations that comprise the UNPLUG Salem Campaign, I urge you and your staff to agree to do what you did at the Tritium exit meeting: stay and answer questions from the public. I understand that you are under no legal obligations to do so, but I suggest that answering questions from the public will be helpful for the public to understand the safety culture problems at PSEG, and PSEG's response to those problems.

I suggest that it is in PSEG's best interest to be as open as possible with the public, in order to assure the public that you are taking all the necessary steps to improve your safety culture.

Sincerely, Norm Cohen Coordinator, UNPLUG Salem Campaign
