Victor Dricks E-Mail: opa4@nrc.gov Phone: 817-860-8128 NRC TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING SEPTEMBER 25 ON PROPOSED SPENT FUEL STORAGE AT RIVER BEND NUCLEAR POWER PLANT Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will meet with Entergy Operations on September 25 at the Region IV offices in Arlington, Texas, to discuss Entergys plans to construct and operate an Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation at the River Bend nuclear power plant near Baton Rouge, La.

The meeting will be held in the Training Conference Room at 611 Ryan Plaza Drive in Arlington, starting at 8:30 a.m. CDT. The public is invited to observe the meeting and NRC staff will be available for comments or questions from the public before the meeting adjourns.
