Letter, G02-88-038 G.C. Sorensen (SS) to NRC same subject, dated February 18, 1988 Numerous discussions were held the mor ning of February 23, 1988 between R.B.

Samworth of the NRC and P.L. Powell and HE L. Aeschliman of the Supply System to discuss the refer ence submittal. As a result of these discussions, the Supply System requests that the amendment to the Limiting Condition for Operation (LCO) for 3/4.9.7 (Crane Travel-Spent Fuel Storage Pool) be revised as attached.

This change is being submitted in order to ensure that this waiver is for a finite period of time, and to further ensure that it is limited to analyzed loads above the fuel pool and below the roof's superstructure. The previous 10CFR 50.59 and 50.92 evaluations are still applicable to this clarification.
