WNP-2, OPERATING LICENSE NPF-21 REQUEST FOR AMENDMENT TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

REVISION OF INDEX In accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 10, Parts 50.90 and 2.101, the Supply System hereby submits a request for amendment to the VVV-2 Technical Specifications.

The proposed amendment, which is administrative, would modify the Index of the WNP-2 Technical Specifications by deleting reference to the Bases pages, as shown in Attachment 1.

The present format of the Index includes reference to the Bases. Consistent with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.36(a), which states that the Bases shall not become part of the Technical Specifications, Bases information will be consolidated into a controlled plant document. Future changes to the Bases information will be evaluated per 10 CFR 50.59.

As discussed in Attachment 2, the Supply System has concluded that the proposed changes to the Technical Specification Index do not involve a significant hazards consideration. In addition, the proposed changes do not create the potential for a significant change in the types or significant increase in the amount of any effluents that may be released offsite, nor do the changes involve a significant increase in individual or cumulative occupational radiation exposure. Accordingly, the proposed change meets the eligibility criteria for a categorical exclusion as set forth in 10 CFR 51.22(c)(9). Therefore, in accordance with 10 CFR 51.22(b),

an environmental assessment of the change is not required.
