UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI-COLUMBIA - AMENDMENT NO. 14 TO INDEMNITY AGREEMENT NO. E-45 (EPID NO. L-2018-LLL-0019)

Dear Dr. Robertson:

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued Amendment No. 14 to the Indemnity Agreement E-45 in response to your request by letter dated April 17, 2018 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML18109A038). The amendment consists of changes such that additional areas will be covered by the indemnity agreement.

The University of Missouri-Columbia Research Reactor (MURR) facility is situated on a 7.5-acre lot in the central portion of Research Commons, an 84-acre tract of land approximately one mile southwest of the University of Missouri (MU) at Columbias main campus. The restricted, or licensed, area is that area inside the fenced 7.5 acre lot surrounding the MURR facility itself. The MURR site description is provided in MURR Technical Specification 5.1.a. A map of the MURR licensed area is provided as Figure 2 in Enclosure 2 of MURRs amendment request, by letter dated April 17, 2018.

Historical license number changes to the original indemnity agreement and attachments thereof were not previously recorded. Therefore, the following changes are listed here as a matter of record:

On October 11, 1966, the Special Nuclear Material (SNM) License No. SNM-934 expired, and Construction Permit No. CPRR-68 was converted to Reactor Operating License No. R-103.
