SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-150/2006-201

Dear Dr. Baeslack:

On November 13-16, 2006, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed aninspection at your Ohio State University Research Reactor facility. The enclosed report documents the inspection results, which were discussed on November 16, 2006, with Dr.

Richard Peterson, Director, Nuclear Reactor Laboratory, Andrew Kauffman, Associate Director, Nuclear Reactor Laboratory, and Robert Peterson, Director, Radiation Safety Section and Ohio State University Radiation Safety Officer.The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to safety andcompliance with the NRC's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. The inspector reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personnel. Based on the results of this inspection, no findings of significance were identified. In accordance with Section 2.390 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, "PublicInspections, Exemptions, Requests for Withholding," a copy of this letter, its enclosure, and your response (if any) will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC PublicDocument Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of NRC's Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS).
