OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY RESEARCH REACTORCLOSURE OF CONFIRMATORY ACTION LETTER NO. NRR-03-010 ON SITE-SPECIFIC COMPENSATORY MEASURES IMPLEMENTATION PLAN
Dear Mr. Kauffman:
On behalf of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), I acknowledge receipt of your letter, dated February 23, 2016 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML16060A103). The letter states that the Ohio State University Research Reactor (OSURR) has met the commitments formalized in the NRC Confirmatory Action Letter (CAL) No. NRR-03-010, issued on December 2, 2003 (ADAMS Accession No. ML032720709). Specifically, OSURR has incorporated the site-specific compensatory measures into its security procedures. The NRC staff reviewed the OSURR security procedures and verified the incorporation of the site-specific compensatory measures and as a result, considers CAL NRR-03-010 to be closed.
Under Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations 2.390, Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding, a copy of this letter will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room located at NRC Headquarters in Rockville, MD, and from ADAMS, which is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
