NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-150/2007-201

Dear Dr. Baeslack:

On May 21 - 24, 2007, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed an inspection at your Ohio State University Research Reactor facility. The enclosed report documents the inspection results, which were discussed on May 24, 2007, with Richard Denning, Director of the Nuclear Reactor Laboratory, Robert Peterson, Director of the Office of Radiation Safety, and Andrew Kauffman, Associate Director of the Nuclear Reactor Laboratory.

The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to safety and compliance with the NRCs rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. The inspector reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personnel. Based on the results of this inspection, no findings of significance were identified.

In accordance with Section 2.390, Public inspections, exemptions, and requests for withholding, of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter, its enclosure, and your response (if any) will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS).
