Dear Mr. Sawatzke:

On July 12, 2018, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a security inspection at your Columbia Generating Station. The NRC inspectors discussed the results of this inspection with Mr. G. Hettel, Chief Nuclear Officer, and other members of your staff. The inspectors documented the results of this inspection in the enclosed inspection report.

No NRC-identified or self-revealing findings were identified during this inspection.

In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations 2.390, Public Inspections, Exemptions, Requests for Withholding, of the NRC's "Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRCs Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of ADAMS.

ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).

Sincerely,

/RA by DAHolman Acting For/
