Dear Mr. Hilbert:
By letter dated June 29, 2021 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Package Accession No. ML21181A000), Daher Nuclear Technologies GmbH (DAHER NT) submitted an application for approval of the Model No. DN30-X package. The application is for a new package design for shipment of uranium hexafluoride with an enrichment up to 20%. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff performed an acceptance review of your application and Orano NCS GmbH responded to our September 22, 2021, request for supplemental information by letter dated October 8, 2021 (ADAMS No. ML21281A046).
The revised application appears to contain the necessary information to begin our detailed technical review.
