REQUEST FOR SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION FOR THE REVIEW OF THE MODEL NO. DN30-X PACKAGE
Dear Mr. Hilbert:
By letter dated June 29, 2021 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System
[ADAMS] Accession No. ML21181A000), DAHER NUCLEAR TECHNOLOGIES GmbH (DAHER NT) submitted an application for approval of the Model No. DN30-X package. The application is for a new package design for shipment of uranium hexafluoride with an enrichment up to 20 percent. Staff performed an acceptance review of your application to determine whether it contains sufficient technical information in scope and depth to allow the staff to complete a detailed technical review.
The information needed to continue our review is described as request for supplemental information (RSI) in the enclosure to this letter. Please note that addressing these RSIs does not preclude the staff from issuing further requests for additional information (RAIs) during the course of the detailed technical review of this application. The RSI responses should be provided by October 10, 2021. If the RSI responses are not received by this date, the application may not be accepted for review and the staff may discontinue any further review.
Please reference Docket No. 71-9388 and Enterprise Project Identifier (EPID) No. L2020-NEW-0003 in future correspondence related to this request.
