The purpose of this letter is to acknowledge receipt of your letter and enclosed report, "Central California Seismic Imaging Project" (CCSIP) dated September 10, 2014 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML 14260A106), which provided information related to the advanced seismic studies performed at Diablo Canyon Power Plant, Units 1 and 2. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) understands that Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) will also use the CCSIP report for its response to the NRC's March 12, 2012 (ADAMS Accession No. ML 12056A046), request for information pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 50, Section 50.54(f), regarding seismic hazard re-evaluation.
